Remote Production (REMI) Services

Cloud-enabled, centralized live production with unlimited scalability.

Our Approach to REMI

Remote Production (REMI) is the modern evolution of live broadcasting — where cameras and audio are captured with essential crew on-site, but the full production environment moves to BMG’s Cloud Control Center™.

Switching, graphics, replay, audio, technical direction, monitoring, and transmission are all handled remotely through our centralized infrastructure.

For clients, this workflow delivers the same broadcast-grade output as traditional on-site production — at a fraction of the footprint, cost, and operational complexity.

As the industry leader in REMI production, BMG has built a proprietary, cloud-connected ecosystem that allows us to produce live events with 2 to 50+ live feeds, support multi-city or multi-venue broadcasts, and run concurrent shows from a single control infrastructure.

Whether you’re producing a nationwide corporate broadcast, a multi-location town hall series, or a space mission with global visibility, BMG’s REMI workflow gives you the scale, flexibility, and redundancy that traditional on-site models can’t match.

What REMI is – and Why Clients Choose It

REMI (Remote Integration Model) allows BMG to centralize the production workflow, reducing the need for full broadcast compounds and large traveling crews. This model is ideal when you need:

  • A smaller on-site footprint
  • Faster deployment in multiple cities
  • Lower travel and crew costs
  • Nationwide or global reach
  • Centralized quality control and monitoring
  • A scalable infrastructure that supports simultaneous productions
  • A mission for environmental sustainability

With REMI, your cameras, mics, and essential on-site elements remain in the venue — but the entire control environment moves to our cloud-controlled Network Operations Center.

The result is a seamless, broadcast-grade production workflow with dramatically higher efficiency and scalability.

Many clients choose a hybrid model combining both, and BMG supports any workflow needed.

Prefer a full on-site approach? We do that too.

Multi-Camera Production

Who It’s For

Organizations that need high-quality live production without the limitations of a full on-site broadcast build. Ideal for:

  • Corporate communications teams producing town halls, all-hands, and leadership programming
  • Networks and OTT platforms running multi-city, multi-market, or recurring shows
  • Sports leagues, teams, and venues with ongoing live game schedules
  • Brands producing nationwide product launches, tours, or experiential events
  • Agencies delivering multi-market campaigns requiring consistent quality across locations
  • Entertainment clients producing movie premieres, red carpets, filmmaker/cast Q&As, award shows, companion shows, game shows or events

If your event benefits from fast deployment, centralized control, and reduced on-site infrastructure, REMI is the optimal solution.

How BMG’s REMI Workflow Works

A modern production system engineered for reliability, flexibility, and scale.

  1. Capture on site – Cameras, audio, and essential crew operate on location using:
    • BMG mobile units (when needed)
    • Flypacks and REMI kits
    • LiveU bonded cellular with optional Starlink redundancy
    • IP or fiber-based contribution paths
  2. Transport your feeds – Signals are routed back to the BMG Cloud Control Center™ using:
    • IP transport
    • Fiber
    • LiveU + Starlink
    • Private cloud interconnects
    • Direct ingest pathways

All feeds enter BMG’s routing fabric with full redundancy.

  3. Produce centrally – Switching, graphics, replay, audio, TD, and engineering teams operate from:
    • BMG Cloud Control Center™ (Washington, D.C.)
    • BMG Spoke facilities (New York, Las Vegas, Chicago)
    • Remote/home workstations (when workflow allows)

This gives you consistent crew quality and broadcast-level control, regardless of where the event takes place.

  4. Deliver to every platform – Your show is sent to:
    • Broadcast networks
    • OTT and FAST channels
    • Corporate communication platforms
    • Social and digital channels (YouTube, Meta, Twitch, TikTok,X)
    • Internal portals

Every transmission path is monitored in real time through the NOC.

  5. Archive + repurpose – All content is routed into BMG’s MAM system for:
    • Archiving
    • Clip extraction
    • Highlights
    • Post-production
    • Long-term lifecycle management

Why BMG’s REMI Workflow is Different

Most companies can execute a simple REMI.

BMG executes tier-one quality REMI with reliability and creative flexibility powered by our 24/7 Cloud Network Operations Center (NOC) that few others can match.

Unlimited scalability

  • 2–50+ concurrent live feeds
  • Multi-venue and multi-city workflows
  • Ability to run multiple live shows from a single NOC
  • Advanced routing and cloud-based switching

Smaller on-site footprint

  • Minimal trucks
  • Smaller crews
  • Faster load-in/load-out
  • Simplified venue approvals

Lower total production cost

  • Reduced travel and freight
  • Fewer technicians on-site
  • Faster deployment between cities
  • Repeatable workflows for recurring shows

NOC-powered reliability

  • Redundant IP paths
  • LiveU/Starlink failover
  • 24/7 monitoring
  • Cloud-based control infrastructure
  • Disaster recovery + instant rerouting

Consistent creative + technical quality

Because the same core team produces your show every time — regardless of the city — your programming remains consistent even as your event moves across markets.

Case Study: Blue Origin NG-2 Mission

The successful launch of Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket carrying NASA’s ESCAPADE spacecraft marked a historic moment in space exploration—and an equally historic achievement in live broadcast production.

Broadcast Management Group engineered one of the largest and most technically ambitious REMI productions ever executed, integrating over 50 live camera feeds from five locations across the U.S. into its state-of-the-art Network Operations Center (NOC) in Washington, D.C.
